Filing across DFW jurisdictions

City of Fort Worth Tarrant County City of Dallas City of Arlington City of Plano City of Frisco
How it works

Four AI agents. One human reviewer.

You upload the job. Our agents draft, sanity-check, and stamp the packet against each jurisdiction's published checklist. A licensed reviewer files and tracks every status change.

1

Intake agent

Reads your job details, address, scope, and squares. Auto-detects the jurisdiction and pulls its current checklist.

2

Drafting agent

Builds the permit packet — application, scope of work, attachments — already mapped to the jurisdiction's PDF fields.

3

Pre-flight agent

Runs the packet against the city's most common rejection reasons. Flags missing crickets, wind loads, PE stamps, and inspection gaps.

4

Human reviewer

A licensed permit tech double-checks every packet, files it with the city, and tracks every inspection until you get the approved number.

Why contractors switch

The cost of permitting yourself.

Most contractors lose 6–12 hours per permit chasing forms, calling planners, and resubmitting after rejections. We replaced that with software that knows the rules and a human who knows the city.

Roofing and solar. Nothing else, on purpose.

Every jurisdiction has its own quirks. We picked roofing and solar in DFW so we could memorize every checklist, every inspector's pet peeve, and every form revision.

Filed in 3–5 days, or refund

If we don't file your packet within five business days of receiving everything we need, you don't pay for that permit.

We started PermitsDone after watching a friend's roofing crew sit idle for three weeks waiting on a Tarrant County permit that came back twice for the same fixable issue. The AI doesn't get tired of reading checklists. We don't either.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Are you a licensed contractor?
We are not a contractor. We are a permitting agency — we prepare and file your permit applications under your contractor license, the same way a paralegal prepares filings under an attorney's bar number. You stay the contractor of record.
Which cities do you cover?
Right now: Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Dallas, Arlington, Plano, and Frisco. Roofing in all six; solar in Dallas, Fort Worth, Plano, and Arlington. We add a new city after we've filed at least 10 successful permits in it.
How does an "AI agency" actually work?
Four AI agents do the structured work — intake, drafting, pre-flight, and document mapping. A licensed human permit tech reviews every packet before it goes to the city, files it, and stays on top of inspections. AI does what AI is good at; humans do the licensed parts.
How do I pay?
Flat fee per permit. $249 per residential roofing permit, $1,099 per residential solar permit. We're in free beta — launch customers pay $0 for their first three permits. Paid pricing turns on May 5, 2026. No subscriptions, setup fees, or minimums.
What if the city rejects the permit?
We revise and resubmit at no additional cost. Unlimited revisions are part of every flat fee. Our pre-flight agent catches the most common rejection reasons before we even file, so this is rare.
Are you insured?
Yes. $1M per occurrence / $2M aggregate Errors & Omissions coverage. Our terms cap our liability at fees paid; we don't take on the contractor's project risk.
